Get a fixed quote

This is what a business your size typically pays — not a quote. Third-party licences, hardware and major projects are billed separately and listed further down. A fixed quote follows a free 30-minute review of what you’re actually running.

Why we publish this

Hiding the price isn’t a sales strategy. It’s a waste of your time.

You can work out in thirty seconds whether we’re in your range, instead of booking a call to find out. If we’re too expensive for where you’re at, we’d rather you knew now — and if we’re cheaper than what you’re paying, you’ve got a reason to talk to us.

Published Australian managed IT rates commonly sit somewhere between $99 and $199 per user per month, and a lot of providers publish nothing at all. We’re deliberately mid-range with security included, rather than at the bottom with it stripped out and sold back to you later.

What's included

What's not included

The bits other providers leave out of the headline

A published price that quietly omits the expensive parts is worse than no published price. Here's what's billed separately.

Third-party licences

Microsoft 365, line-of-business software and similar are billed at cost. We'll tell you what you're paying and right-size it — most businesses are over-licensed.

Hardware

Laptops, servers, firewalls and network gear are quoted separately at business pricing. We procure and configure them; you own them.

Major projects

Migrations, office moves, new site fit-outs and significant infrastructure changes are scoped and quoted as projects with a fixed price.

After-hours and emergency response

Business-hours support is included. If you need genuine 24/7 cover we'll price it for your situation rather than charge everyone for it.

Cloud consumption

Azure, AWS and private cloud hosting are billed on usage. We manage the spend and report on it monthly.

Questions

The things people ask about price

Including the awkward ones.

Is that price per user or per device?

Per user. If someone has a laptop, a desktop and a phone, that's one user, not three. Per-device pricing punishes you for equipping people properly, which we think is the wrong incentive.

Does the price include GST?

No — $115 per user per month is quoted excluding GST, which is standard for business-to-business services in Australia. GST is added to your invoice.

Why is there a five-user minimum?

Below about five people, the fixed effort of monitoring, security tooling and documentation doesn't spread far enough to make a managed service good value for either side. If you're smaller than that we'll say so and point you at something more suitable rather than sell you something you don't need.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No. We work on rolling agreements with a short notice period. We'd rather keep your business by doing the work well than by making it painful to leave, and if you do leave you get full documentation of your environment.

What if we have servers? Do they cost extra?

Monitoring, patching and maintaining your existing servers is included in the per-user price. What isn't included is the hardware itself, or a major project like replacing or migrating them — those are quoted separately with a fixed price so there are no surprises.

Is security really included, or is it an upsell?

Included. Multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, email filtering, patching and monitoring are all in the base price. We take the view that selling managed IT without security and then charging extra to make it safe isn't a service, it's a trap.

How does this compare to other providers?

Published Australian managed IT rates commonly sit between roughly $99 and $199 per user per month, and many providers publish nothing at all. We're deliberately in the middle of that range with security included rather than at the bottom with it stripped out.

Can you just quote us properly?

Yes, and you should get one before committing. The number on this page is what most businesses of your size actually pay, but a fixed quote comes after a free 30-minute review where we look at what you're actually running.
