Privacy Policy
Last updated 29 July 2026
Nexcentric Pty Ltd(“Nexcentric”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and in the course of providing our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
Through this website we collect only what you choose to give us:
- Enquiry details — the name, email address, phone number, company name, team size, areas of interest and message you submit through our contact form.
- Correspondence — emails and other messages you send us, and our replies.
- Technical information — standard server log data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, generated automatically when any browser loads a web page.
This website does not host user accounts, comments or e-commerce, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Information collected while providing services
Where you engage us as your IT provider, we necessarily hold information about your systems and users — for example staff names and work email addresses, device identifiers, and support ticket history. That information is held under the terms of your service agreement, is used only to deliver and support the services you have engaged us for, and is not sold or used for marketing.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange an initial review or quote.
- To provide, support, secure and improve the services you engage us for.
- To send service-related communications such as maintenance notices and incident updates.
- To meet our legal, insurance and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If and when we add website analytics, we will use a privacy-respecting, aggregate-only configuration and will update this section to name the provider before doing so. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies at any time.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only where it is necessary to operate our business, and only with providers bound by confidentiality and security obligations. This may include:
- Our website hosting and transactional email providers, which process contact form submissions in order to deliver them to us.
- Technology vendors whose platforms we deploy and manage on your behalf, such as Microsoft.
- Professional advisers, insurers or regulators where we are legally required or permitted to disclose.
Overseas disclosure
Some of the platforms we rely on are operated by providers with overseas infrastructure. Where we host client data in our own private cloud, it is held in Australian data centres. Where a service supports Australian data residency, we configure it. If you need documented confirmation of where specific data resides, ask us and we will provide it.
Security
We apply the same security practices we recommend to clients: multi-factor authentication, least-privilege access, encryption in transit and at rest where supported, endpoint protection, patching, and monitoring. No system can be guaranteed impenetrable, but if a data breach likely to cause serious harm occurs we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are retained for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Client records are retained for the life of the engagement and for the period required by law and our insurers, after which they are securely destroyed or de-identified.
Your rights
You may, at any time:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Ask us to delete information we are not legally required to retain.
- Withdraw consent to marketing communications.
Email hello@nexcentric.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable period, generally within 30 days. There is no charge for making a request.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first at hello@nexcentric.com.au so we can investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or obligations change. The current version is always published here with the date it was last updated.
